to Weezer, I agree. I live in Korea and the thought of spurring more korea vs. america racism is frightening to me, because in korea all white people are americans, and korea isn't the most cosmopolitan of countries. But I think that this system is way to deeply ingrained to be altered in any serious way. This, actually, is part of the reason for my Factions thread, I hope to (for PvE sake) draw a little attention away from silly nationalism and within a server be able to fight for your fictional gods.

So after PvP they will move into PvP?

And most players with obsidian armor (fissure armor) are american and korean armor so basicly that means we european get screwed ... again.

Switching servers is starting to look good idea ...

I'm guessing that was a typo.

And they mentioned the obsidian armor as a way to identify all the players who had basicaly 'done it all'. I seriously doubt that wether or not you have any will affect your enjoyment of the new areas.

For that matter almost everything in the game is optional, you can skip missions/go around, make a pvp only and not have to do any missions at all if you want, theres no real set path.

After the last mission you should goto "a temple" with the gods and the highest/hardest quest area in game and not before.

And if they did that people would complain that the game is too linear and confining.

Not everything has to always be progressively harder and in a clear-cut fashion. Just don't go there until you've cleared everything else if it bothers you so much.

Some people like the challenge of getting in over their heads at early levels.

It doesnt have to be but it should be.

If you have even played the game it IS already progressively harder as you go through the missions now.

You can have the best of everything and be 20/200 and get in over your head in the first 10 seconds in either of the 2 zones now.

I can read Fishnets. For thoses PVP who have come back to these forums to gloat and thank Anet for a wonderfull update.

I was speaking on a PVE point and have been since the last 6 updates that have gone out. PVE LVL20+ players that have completed the game seem to have been over looked. Yeah we have fissure and Underworld when we have favour.

I am not keen on Guild wars style of PVP play so stop telling me to go play it. I want to play PVE and dont want to be forced into PVP to progress in PVE. I have said it to many times to keep repeating it.

Doent make sense that again the new quests are in low level areas??? They still have quests to do. The two in Fissure will be good when Europe can get at them. And I am told the Sardelac Sanitarium just to rub salt in Europes wounds wont be available till we hold the HOH.

So make you mind up at that most valuable time European PVE players

Quest or Fissure/UW But I shouldnt worry the quest should be able to be completed before the timer counts you down and into the UW

Great touch Anet

I'm no prophet but i know where those two new areas are going. Yep that is right - into the temple of ages, bound to the favor system. We still have 2 unfinished Gods in there, don't we? How many areas are supposed to come? 2.

I've allready stated my opinion many times about the WaW System. And i doubt it will ever change, even though it is strongly encouraging racism.

Sidenote to those arrogant PVPers telling the PVErs to go and win the HOH. Burn in Hell for your arrogance. You don't want to do the PVE Part at all, do you? No problem, your dearest will fix that right away. PVErs don't want to to the PVP Part at all, do they? Well, uhm... Arena.net won't listen. And the PVP Playerbase says with a nasty grin on their ugly faces: "Go PVPing, win the favor for your country it is so easy! (NOOOOB that you are, damn pver!!!)"

Every Update so far helped the PVPers, but nerfed the PVE Side. So it is clearly to see where Arena.nets Focus ist. Get rid of the annoying PVErs that want new content now and then - head back towards the PVPers who are satisfied with the same map and same old things over and over and over again.

The 2 new areas are actually set in the Shiverpeaks.
I doubt they will be favor of the Gods related, and hope they are not.
The have also stated that the PvE is due an update shortly aimed at ascended characters.

I think you may have a valid point there Feli. The PVP robot button bashers dont complain and they can knock up another small arena to keep them happy once every 6 month.

Hmm PVE Costs to update.

But remember ANET who will be buying the new update? Because PVP players will be happy in their little bowl.

Yep real countries have no place in the game world, Arenanet needs to lose that ASAP.

Maybe they need to make PVP harder for anyone who hasnt completed the last mission by making them do more maps or something before they get a try at hoh
There's no logic to the favor thing if it doesnt work both ways...

HoH should be an end-game reward for having gained the "approval" of the gods (ascension).

Yes it is. So what is the problem then? It doesn't satisfy you enough because one area of the game smack in the middle of it demands higher levels?

Again yes. And again what is the problem with this? That's kind of the idea, since those areas are made specificaly for experienced lvl 20's in mind.

You keep acting as if they didn't already promise new areas for PvE. Anet are not a bunch of idiots who will overlook PvE for PvP, nor vice-versa.

Maybe instead of trying to please both sides they should keep intertwining both in such a way that it will blurr the line until you can't tell the difference anymore. Then people wont know what to complain about.

Ok, I like PvE much more than PvP (that said to clear away all the "go away you arrogant pvper" crap)
I remember learning what I could about Guild Wars before it was released and everything I ever read, ESPECIALLY information coming from Anet, seemed to emphasize over and over the PvP aspect of the game.

What am I saying? If you didn't think that Anet had a particular preference for the PvP aspect over the PVE aspect, then you have been fooling yourself. You should have known and expected this before you even bought the game. Dont come whine about something you should have known way before this game was released. Or actually learn about what you are buying first. Dear God, people! Think!

..thats all, flame away

Added new quests "Caravan In Trouble" in Eastern Frontier, "Family Reunion" in Sardelac Sanitarium, "Khobay The Betrayer" and "Slaves of Menzies" in Fissure of Woe.

Maybe im just a complainer whos getting bored stiff of Guild Wars now I have completed it in PVE.

Will I be buying the update Hmmmmm we will see
There is a common thread in all of your posts: You whine - continuously and persistently.

STFU and just pay your monthly dues...oh wait...wrong game, sorry.
GW is free online... so the financial benefit to ANEt to patch it is?
Now shoo ~ go away.

I completely disagree with the statement there not listening; Arnea.net has developed one of the best feedback systems I've ever seen.

Arena.net has found a way to get accurate player response / vibe of there game from there players directly.

Here's why, they have no direct way of contacting the developers for X idea would be great. Otherwise they be flooded and have to sift through massive email as well as the suggestion that break game balance aka I want x class to beat all.

So they have the system set up for elite / official forums and they let it be known that they are monitored. This allows fan sites run by guild wars fans have forums on all topics. They assign a rep(s) to each forum. With open debate by the people who play the game covering every angel. The forums self censor them self’s against ideas of X sucks, get wow, or why can't x beat all.

Now each rep pulls stuff like hey, people are talking about this (and other reps) find the similar ideas / change going on and realize the people who play, want it.

Not only that, since popular idea’s get debated so well among the people directly, I almost bet that the some issues the developers had the players figured out how to fix from the forums.

Thank you again Arena.Net for coming up with this unique feed back system.

I have never seen a game changed for the better as quick as GW and I've been playing a lot of games over many years.

To right I whine.

What have I from a PVE lvl20+ in Europe got to sing about. All the updates have mostly been about Pleasing the PVP whiners. Where I come from its the squeeky wheel that gets oiled.

Oh wait a min I just noticed something from the last update, They have put something in for us lvl20+ European PVE players

damn nearly missed it

WE CAN NOW ALL START DANCING IN SYNC

If ya bored have a dance you see it more and more now in outposts
